Natalie has been contracted through UC Merced since 2017 where her focus was in procurement services such as purchasing, travel arranging and reimbursement processing. She joined the School of Natural Science team in April 2021 as the new Program Assistant, where she works with the leadership team of the HHMI Inclusive Excellence in Science Education grant.

Adriana facilitates the students-faculty partnerships to support assessment efforts on campus. As SATAL coordinator, Adriana provides on-going professional development to the undergraduates who collaborate with faculty on the assessment of teaching and learning in their courses (e.g., use of instructional time, learning activities, student engagement, and provide confidential feedback). By gathering student feedback, faculty find the results critical to improving their understanding of the learning needs and move towards a more culturally responsive pedagogy.
